CMH and Alzheimer’s Association offer free cognitive screenings
CMH Neurology and Headache Center and Missouri Memory Center, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, will host a free community event focused on brain health and Alzheimer’s disease on Friday, April 24, 2026, in Springfield.
The event will help individuals and families better understand memory changes, the importance of early detection and the resources available for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about brain health and Alzheimer’s disease, connect with local and regional resources and receive a free cognitive assessment provided by the Missouri Memory Center.
The sessions are at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at The Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave., Springfield.
