CMH Baby Fair planned for July 11
Citizens Memorial Hospital invites expecting parents, grandparents and families with young children to attend the CMH Baby Fair on Saturday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Third Floor East Tower Room at the hospital.
This year’s theme, “Little Sprouts Baby Fair: Growing Healthy Families Together,” celebrates the journey of pregnancy, newborn care and early childhood by connecting families with local resources, health care professionals and community organizations.
Guests can meet physicians and nursing staff from The Birth Place, tour the unit and learn more about maternity and newborn services available at CMH.
The event will bring together CMH departments, local organizations and community resources that support families during pregnancy and early childhood. Attendees can visit more than 30 booths and gather practical tips on topics such as baby care, nutrition, safety and community resources.
The event will also include short educational sessions, refreshments, giveaways and activities for families and children.
“We are excited to bring families together with the resources and support available in our community,” said Tara Akins, director of community relations and development at CMH. “Whether you are expecting your first child or growing your family, the Baby Fair offers an opportunity to learn, ask questions and connect with others who are here to help.”
Admission is free. For more information about the CMH Baby Fair, call Akins at 417-328-6318.
