Awards

CMH is a three-time recipient (in 2010, 2014 and 2018) of the Missouri Quality Award. The award is modeled after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. CMH uses of an extensive strategic planning process modeled after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality standards to achieve growth.

Leapfrog "A" Safety Grade

CMH received an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit watchdog, in Spring and Fall 2024.

Chest Pain Registry Platinum Achievement Award

2024 Chest Pain - MI Platinum Award

Received the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain – MI (Myocardial Infarction) Registry Platinum Achievement Award in 2024.

Rural Stroke Award

2024 Get With the GuidelinesĀ® Silver Award

2024 Get With the Guidelines® Silver Achievement Award from the American Heart Association.

HQIC Platinum Award

2024 Platinum Medal from Hospital Quality Innovators

Received the 2024 Platinum Medal from Hospital Quality Innovators through the Health Quality Improvement Contractors (HQIC) Recognition Program.

CMS 4-Star Rating

The hospital has a 4-star rating with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on the CMS Care Compare Site.

Aim for Excellence Award

CMH received the 2021 AIM for Excellence Award by the Missouri Hospital Association. CMH was one of two Missouri organizations recognized for our innovative monoclonal antibody infusion program.

Recovery Friendly Workplace Award

CMH was the first business in Missouri to receive the Recovery Friendly Workplace designation from Recovery Friendly Missouri. CMH Nutritional Services partners with the CMH Addiction Recovery Program to provide employment opportunities for patients.

Springfield Business Journal Awards

Springfield Business Journal awards include multiple years as an Economic Impact Award nominee and honored in the Dynamic Dozen. The Economic Impact Award recognizes CMH's impact on the local economy. The Dynamic Dozen award recognizes CMH for being one of the top 12 fastest-growing companies in southwest Missouri.

Technology Awards

The Davies Award of Excellence from the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society. The award recognizes CMH's innovative efforts with the patient electronic medical record system.

The College of Healthcare Information Executives honored CMH as a 2020 Digital Health Most Wired hospital. CMH earned Level 7 certification in the acute care category.

CMH is one of the nation’s “Most Wired” hospitals and health systems, given by the American Hospital Association. CMH won the award 13 years in a row.

CMH won the "Most Wired Innovator" Award in 2014. The honor is given annually to three hospitals in the nation that apply technology in new and innovative ways.

2022-23 Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce Large Business of the Year for the Dallas County Family Medical Center and Walk-In Clinic.

2022-23 Willard Area Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year for the Willard Medical Center and Walk-In Clinic.

2021 Polk County Pillar in Business by the Bolivar Herald-Free Press.
