CMH Heroes for Hospice 5K/10K Run presented by Craig Lehman Shelter Insurance
First Saturday in May
Both courses begin in front of the CMH Community Rooms and conclude with a loop around Dunnegan Park. The race starts at 8:30 a.m. and is electronically timed for accuracy. The overall male and female winners in both races and the first-place male and female winners in each age division receive medals. We encourage participants to dress as their favorite superheroes! Walkers, strollers and pets are welcome.
The event benefits CMH Hospice. Caregivers help patients remain as comfortable as possible at home, or in a homelike setting, with family and friends. A bereavement program also provides support to the family after the death of their loved one. Proceeds from the race ensure that all terminally ill patients and their families receive physical, emotional, spiritual and bereavement care.
Sponsorship levels begin at $100. Download sponsorship information and a form to print, complete and send to the CMH Community Relations & Development office.

Hospice Lights of Remembrance
November
The purpose of the Lights of Remembrance “Cheer-ity” Open House and Fundraiser is to:
- Honor the life of a loved one.
- Support the Hospice philosophy of living life fully, comfortably and dying with dignity.
- Involve the community in supporting Hospice care.
Individuals can donate $10 to $500 per light in honor of family and friends or in memory of loved ones.
The lights decorating the tree are dedicated to those people who are being honored or memorialized. Your giving ensures that terminally ill patients and their families in our area receive physical, emotional, spiritual and bereavement care.
The fundraiser benefits CMH Hospice. Caregivers help patients remain as comfortable as possible at home, or in a homelike setting, with family and friends. A bereavement program also provides support to the family after the death of their loved one.
