  1. Log into the CMH Patient Portal here. New to CMH, but need a virtual visit? Create a portal account and schedule a virtual visit. 

On mobile? Download the Meditech MHealth app and follow the same instructions.

  1. Select “Appointments”
  2. Select “Schedule Appointment or Virtual Visit,” then select “Virtual Visit”
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to schedule the visit and join the session

Virtual visits are not for emergencies. If you are having a medical emergency, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

A virtual visit can be used for COVID-19 symptoms and minor illnesses or injuries such as:

  • Sore throat
  • Sinus problems
  • Stomach aches
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Fever
  • Skin problems
  • Sports injuries

*Some medical conditions cannot be treated by virtual visit and may require an in-person visit with a provider. The virtual visit provider will let you know if you need a different visit type.

Who can use a virtual visit?

Any patient may use virtual visits for non-emergency conditions. You must be within the state of Missouri at the time of the visit. Minors must have a guardian present during the visit.

What conditions or illnesses can be treated with a virtual visit?

Virtual visits are not for emergencies. If you are having a medical emergency, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. With a virtual visit, CMH providers can diagnose and treat patients for COVID-19 related symptoms and also common medical conditions such as sore throat, sinus problems, stomach aches, nausea and vomiting, fever, skin problems, and sports injuries. Some medical conditions cannot be treated by virtual visit and may require an in-person visit with a provider. The virtual visit provider will let you know if you need a different visit type.

How do I schedule a virtual visit?

From a computer, log into the Patient Portal using the link at citizensmemorial.com, click on appointments, click on Schedule Appointment or Virtual Visit, click on Virtual Visit and then continue to follow the screen instructions. If you are on your phone/tablet, you will need the Meditech MHealth app ( Android or iOS).

What happens when it’s time for my virtual visit?

You will book the virtual visit through the Patient Portal, register and check in. You will then connect to the video. The provider will then join you by video and your visit will proceed similar to an in-person visit.

Do I have to establish care at CMH?

No, you do not need to establish care, but you do need a Patient Portal account. Click here to sign up for a CMH Patient Portal account and schedule a virtual visit.

When can I use a virtual visit?

CMH Virtual Visits are available daily (Monday-Sunday), 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

Which provider will I see?

You will see a CMH provider. They may be a physician or a mid-level provider (nurse practitioner or physician assistant).

How will my primary provider know about results from my virtual visit?

If you have a CMH primary care provider, they will have access to view the provider documentation of this visit. It will be a part of your CMH medical record.

Can I use my insurance?

CMH virtual visits are self-pay. Virtual visits are a flat rate of $25. Insurance claims will not be submitted.

Can I get prescriptions through a virtual visit?

Your provider may or may not prescribe medications based off of their assessment during the visit. No controlled substances will be prescribed during a virtual visit.

I don’t normally use my computer / mobile device for video. Can I test my device before my Virtual Visit to make sure it will work?
