53 teams compete in 36th annual CMH Golf Classic

Fifty-three teams participated in the 36th annual Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation Medical Excellence Golf Classic, presented by SGC Foodservice. The tournament was held June 4 at Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club in Bolivar.

The 18-hole, four-person scramble raises money for CMH’s Medical Excellence Scholarship program, which provides financial assistance to individuals in CMH’s eight-county service area who are pursuing careers in healthcare.

“We’re grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, players and the incredible Silo Ridge staff for helping make this year’s event a tremendous success,” said Tara Akins, CMH director of community relations and development. “Their generosity directly benefits students going into healthcare careers.”
