Valerie Noblitt receives state award

Valerie Noblitt, director of Home Care Services for Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation, has been awarded the Pioneer Leadership Award by the Missouri Alliance for Home Care (MAHC).

The Pioneer Leadership Award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of home care, both at the state and national levels. Nominees must participate in activities that promote quality home care beyond their own agencies, serve as advocates for the industry and demonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring essential health services are accessible to those in need. They must also actively pave the way for the future of home care.

Noblitt has been a member of the MAHC board since 2014 and currently serves as its president, a role she will hold until 2026. Throughout her tenure, she has been a dedicated advocate for home care services, making numerous trips to Jefferson City and Washington, D.C., to champion the cause at an industry level.

In announcing the award, MAHC praised Noblitt’s dedication, stating, “Valerie’s outstanding professional achievements are only paralleled by her exceptional personal qualities. She is a person of remarkable kindness, compassion and positivity. She efficiently navigates through any situation, maintaining remarkable perspective.”

Michael Calhoun, CEO/executive director of Citizens Memorial Hospital/CMH Foundation, expressed pride in Noblitt’s accomplishments. “Valerie has been a vital part of CMH since February 1991, starting as a CNA and becoming the Director of Home Care Services in 2008. I’ve worked alongside her throughout my time at CMH, and she has been instrumental in growing home care services into the compassionate and quality-driven service it is today. Valerie embodies CMH’s mission, vision and values, and this award is well-deserved recognition of that.”
