CMH welcomes psychiatrist Dr. Christopher Willis
Citizens Memorial Hospital welcomes Christopher Willis, D.O., a board-certified psychiatrist, to the CMH medical staff.
Dr. Willis provides psychiatric care for patients ages 18 and older at Bolivar Family Care Center in Bolivar, Willard Medical Center in Willard and Ash Grove Family Medical Center in Ash Grove.
His services include the evaluation and treatment of psychiatric disorders, major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), generalized and social anxiety disorders, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), insomnia, substance use and personality disorders.
Dr. Willis earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City. He also completed graduate coursework in bioethics at the university.
Dr. Willis completed his psychiatry residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He currently serves as a major in the U.S. Army Medical Corps and has served as a staff psychiatrist at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, since 2022, where he served as chief of inpatient psychiatry and clinical consultant for a substance use disorder clinic.
Dr. Willis is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.
