Diabetes educator joins CMH
Citizens Memorial Hospital welcomes Tina Cloney, Ph.D., MSPH, RD, LDN, CDCES, CSSD, as its new diabetes educator at the CMH Endocrinology Center.
Dr. Cloney is board certified as a registered dietitian and nutritionist, a specialist in sports dietetics and a diabetes care and education specialist. She brings more than 17 years of experience as a professor of health and nutrition at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. She has also served as a diabetes program coordinator and executive health dietitian, with extensive experience in program development, patient education and nutrition counseling.
At CMH, Dr. Cloney will work with patients to optimize their health and improve outcomes through lifestyle modification and nutrition-focused care.
She is now seeing patients at the CMH Endocrinology Center, 1155 W. Parkview St., Suite 2J, in the Kerry & Synda Douglas Medical Center. For more information, call 417-328-7957.
