CMH to host open house and ribbon cutting for new CMH Dialysis Center
Citizens Memorial Hospital will host an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new CMH Dialysis Center from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 1160 W. Parkview St. in Bolivar. The ribbon cutting will take place at 1 p.m.
The community is invited to attend, tour the new facility, meet staff and learn more about the comprehensive kidney care services available through the CMH Dialysis Center and CMH Nephrology Clinic. Light refreshments will be served.
The CMH Dialysis Center features advanced dialysis technology, a spacious and comfortable treatment environment, and a dedicated team of highly trained nurses and technicians. The facility includes 16 hemodialysis chairs with scenic window views, patient rooms for home peritoneal and hemodialysis education, a welcoming waiting area and specialized support areas.
The CMH Dialysis Center will also be home to the CMH Nephrology Clinic starting in January 2026. Led by board-certified nephrologist Russell Davis, D.O., the CMH Nephrology Clinic provides diagnosis, treatment and long-term management of chronic kidney conditions. Together, the CMH Dialysis Center and CMH Nephrology Clinic will deliver coordinated, patient-centered care in one location.
“Our goal is to provide patients with the highest quality kidney care in an environment that promotes comfort, dignity and trust,” Dr. Davis said. “This new facility allows us to combine advanced technology with compassionate care, giving patients the support they need to manage their kidney health effectively.”
“The CMH Dialysis Center represents another important step in our mission to expand access to specialized care for the communities we serve,” said Michael Calhoun, CEO/executive director of Citizens Memorial Hospital and the Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation. “We’re proud to offer this modern, patient-focused facility that will make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals living with kidney disease.”
