Brooklyn Bushnell joins Dallas County Family Medical Center

Dallas County Family Medical Center and Citizens Memorial Hospital welcome Brooklyn Bushnell, LMSW,  a licensed master social worker, to the medical staff.

Bushnell joins the school-based therapy team for Dallas County R-1 School District, where she provides on-site counseling and therapy services to students through 12^th grade during regular school hours.

She helps students with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and behavioral issues such as aggression, defiance, ADHD, anger, acting out/risky behaviors, suicidal ideations, self-harm, substance use and bullying.

Appointments can also be scheduled during after-school hours and summer months at Dallas County Family Medical Center. Most major insurance plans are accepted, and financial assistance is available.

Before joining the medical staff, Bushnell served as a behavioral health consultant at Citizens Memorial Hospital and as a psychiatric social worker at CoxHealth in Springfield. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in biology and a Master of Social Work from Missouri State University in Springfield.
