Auxiliary to host nut and candy fundraiser Oct. 27-28
The Citizens Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will host a Nutman Company nut and candy fundraiser Monday, Oct. 27, and Tuesday, Oct. 28, on the second floor of the Kerry & Synda Douglas Medical Center, 1155 W. Parkview St. in Bolivar.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 27 and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 28.
The sale will feature a variety of nuts, chocolate and candies. Proceeds benefit the CMH Auxiliary and support special projects at Citizens Memorial Hospital.
The CMH Auxiliary includes about 300 volunteers who contribute more than 28,000 hours annually. Volunteers assist in many ways, including staffing information desks and organizing fundraising events. In the past year, the auxiliary donated more than $89,000 to CMH for purchases that enhance the patient experience.
