Shannon Wallace, FNP-C, joins Dallas County Family Medical Center and Walk-In Clinic
Dallas County Family Medical Center and Walk-In Clinic has welcomed Shannon Wallace, FNP-C, to its medical staff.
Wallace brings more than eight years of nursing experience. She previously served as a floor nurse in the medical-surgical unit and as an operating room circulator at Citizens Memorial Hospital. Most recently, she worked as a rooming nurse at Ozarks Community Health Center in Hermitage for two years.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas, and a master’s degree in family nurse practitioner from Cox College in Springfield. Wallace is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
She joins the clinic’s medical team, which includes Kristina Kaufmann, D.O.; Taylor Pedersen, D.O.; Kaylee Ankrom, FNP-C; Johnna Brothers, FNP-C; Krystal Colvin, FNP-BC; Gina Dill, DNP, FNP-C; R. David Hunziger, FNP-BC; Linzi Smith, FNP-C; and Cassie Viets, FNP-C.
In her role, Wallace cares for patients in the walk-in clinic, treating acute conditions such as illness, injury, allergies, colds, coughs, flu, minor burns, fractures, sprains, strains, minor lacerations and other medical concerns that require immediate attention.
