CMH welcomes licensed clinical psychologist Thomas Blansett to medical staff
Citizens Memorial Hospital welcomes licensed clinical psychologist Thomas Blansett, Psy.D., to the CMH medical staff. He is now seeing patients at Humansville Family Medical Center.
Dr. Blansett earned a Bachelor of Science in correctional administration from Missouri State University in Springfield. He earned a Master of Arts in clinical psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno, California.
Dr. Blansett has more than 31 years of experience in mental health care. For the past 22 years, he operated a private practice in Springfield. He also worked as a staff clinical psychologist at Ozarks Community Hospital’s Behavioral Health Department in Springfield and taught as an adjunct professor at Forest Institute of Professional Psychology.
At Humansville Family Medical Center, Dr. Blansett provides psychological evaluations and therapy services for adults 18 and older. His areas of focus include individual psychotherapy, family and group therapy, as well as treatment for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), major depressive disorder (MDD), anxiety and other mental health conditions.
