CMH welcomes Justin Johns, MSW, LCSW, to the addiction recovery program
Citizens Memorial Hospital and the CMH Addiction Recovery Program in Bolivar welcome licensed clinical social worker Justin Johns, MSW, LCSW, to the medical staff.
He joins Kurt Bravata, M.D., FACC, medical director, Kelly Watson, FNP-BC and Courtney Brummel, FNP-C, at the CMH Addiction Recovery Program.
Johns has more than 12 years of experience as a counselor. He previously worked as a mental health clinician and substance use assessment specialist at the Missouri State University Counseling Center in Springfield and as a licensed clinical social worker at Serenity Therapy Services in Bolivar. Most recently, he served as associate director at Missouri State University’s Academic Advising and Transfer Center.
Johns earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work from Missouri State University in Springfield. He provides care for patients ages 16 and older, treating behavioral health concerns such as substance use disorder, addiction, psychotherapy, and identity-affirming and supportive counseling.
The CMH Addiction Recovery Program helps those in substance use and alcohol recovery by offering a highly specialized outpatient treatment program designed to lead patients to physical and psychosocial wellness.
