CMH welcomes interventional cardiologist Dr. Dishang R. Bhavsar
Citizens Memorial Hospital and the CMH Heart Institute Clinic welcome interventional cardiologist, Dishang R. Bhavsar, M.D., to the medical staff.
Dr. Bhavsar joins a team of experienced cardiologists at the CMH Heart Institute Clinic in Bolivar, including Haris Riaz, M.D., John F. Best, M.D., FACP, FACC, FSCAI, and Stephen V. Davis, M.D., FACC.
Dr. Bhavsar earned his medical degree from B.J. Medical College in India. He completed his internal medicine residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York, and fellowships in cardiovascular medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Cardiovascular Medicine and in interventional cardiology at Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital/Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York City.
He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board eligible in interventional cardiology.
Dr. Bhavsar specializes in adult interventional cardiology, including diagnostic angiography, coronary angioplasty and stenting, echocardiography, stress testing, cardiac monitoring, peripheral angiography, transesophageal echocardiography, cardioversion, and pericardiocentesis.
