CMH welcomes dermatologist Ajdin Kobic, M.D., to medical staff

Citizens Memorial Hospital welcomes dermatologist Ajdin Kobic, M.D., FAAD, to the CMH medical staff. He joins dermatologist Murphy Mastin, M.D., at the CMH Dermatology Clinic in Bolivar.

Dr. Kobic attended medical school at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. He completed his dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, and his fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Kobic is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and has subspecialty certification in micrographic dermatologic surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Dr. Kobic specializes in Mohs surgery for treating skin cancers such as basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. He also treats melanoma and skin infections and performs dermatologic procedures, including melanoma surgery, benign and malignant tumor removal, cryosurgery, full body skin exams, nail and skin biopsies, scalp surgery, sclerotherapy, and skin cancer and lesion removal. Dr. Kobic is experienced in laser and aesthetic procedures.
