56 teams compete in 34th annual CMH Golf Classic
Fifty-six teams gathered for this year’s annual Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation Medical Excellence Golf Classic, presented by SGC Foodservice. The tournament was held June 6 at Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club in Bolivar.
Teams of four competed to raise money for the CMH Medical Excellence Scholarship program, which provides financial assistance to future Citizens Memorial health care professionals. To date, the fund has helped more than 750 students.
The tournament featured two shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Players enjoyed complimentary breakfast, lunch, snacks and Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper products at the tournament. At the end of the tournament, teams were placed in one of four flights and ranked first through fourth.
Championship Flight
In the championship flight, the Mainline Fire Protection team took first with a 52; Tyler Johnsen’s The Nail Lounge and Tanning team came in second with a 53; The Bank of Missouri team finished in third with 55; and the Hometown Mattress & Furniture team placed fourth with a 56.
A Flight
In the A flight, the Eric Jones team took first place with 61; team Dynamic Construction Systems placed second with 61; Arthrex grabbed third with 61; and Ozarks Community Health Center shot 61 to place fourth in the flight.
B Flight
The team sponsored by Allen’s Mechanical led flight B with 65; followed by CBIZ in second with 65; the Ben E. Keith team was third at 65; and the team sponsored by Star Wholesale Supply came in fourth with 65.
C Flight
In flight C, the team sponsored by CIS Data Services, LLC took top honors with 69; the team sponsored by Strategic Healthcare Risk Advisors came in second at 69; team Shaun Miller took third with 69; and Dr. Bill Donnell’s team placed fourth at 69.
“Our sponsors donated close to $60,000 for this year’s tournament,” said Wren Hall, CMH director of community relations and development. “None of this would be possible without the support and participation of our amazing sponsors, volunteers and the staff at Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club.”
Next year’s CMH Medical Excellence Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held at Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
