CMH Foundation accepting applications for 2024 Medical Excellence Scholarships
Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation announces that applications are now being accepted for the 2024 Medical Excellence Scholarships. Interested individuals can obtain the application forms at the CMH Office of Human Resources or download the online application at https://cmhbolivar.info/MedExScholarship.
The deadline to submit the completed application is Thursday, Feb. 29, at 5 p.m.
The scholarship provides financial assistance to individuals from the CMH service area who are pursuing careers in health care. Recipients commit to returning to work at CMH upon completing their education. To date, the fund has awarded over $2.3 million in assistance to more than 400 students.
Funding for the scholarship comes from proceeds of the annual CMH Medical Excellence Golf Classic and other community contributions. The 2024 Golf Classic is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, at Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club in Bolivar.
Please note that applications must be submitted in paper form; electronic submissions will not be accepted. Mail applications to Human Resources, Attn: Medical Excellence Scholarship, 1500 N. Oakland, Bolivar, MO 65613, or hand-deliver to the Human Resources office at the CMH Broadway Professional Building, 2001 W. Broadway Ave., Bolivar.
