Willard Medical Center increases access to behavioral health treatment, welcomes Dr. Michael Etches
Willard Medical Center welcomes Michael W. Etches, M.D., psychiatrist, to its medical staff. Dr. Etches joins Sarah Neal, Psy.D., licensed clinical psychologist, at the clinic to increase access to behavioral health services in the Willard area and provide outpatient psychiatric care for patients aged 18 and older.
Dr. Etches has worked for Citizens Memorial Hospital since August 2021. In addition to his outpatient psychiatry practice, Dr. Etches also provided psychiatric care for CMH’s Parkview Geriatric Wellness patients through December 2023.
Now dedicated exclusively to adult outpatient psychiatric care, Dr. Etches specializes in the evaluation and treatment of psychiatric disorders including but not limited to mood disorders, memory deficits, panic disorders, bipolar disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, major depression, anger issues and geriatric wellness.
Dr. Etches is a graduate of Avalon University School of Medicine, Curacao, and completed a psychiatry residency at the University of Central Florida. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
In addition to seeing patients at Willard Medical Center, Dr. Etches also sees patients at Southside Medical Center-Behavioral Health in Bolivar. Willard Medical Center and Southside Medical Center are rural health clinics owned and operated by Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar.
