CMH Ash Grove Family Medical Center welcomes April Donovan, FNP-C
Citizens Memorial Hospital and Ash Grove Family Medical Center announce the appointment of family nurse practitioner April Donovan to the CMH medical staff.
She joined Malcolm Oliver, M.D., Lauren Argo, NP-C and Tia Phillips, DNP, FNP-C, at Ash Grove Family Medical Center.
She specializes in caring for patients with acute illnesses, injuries, allergies and more. She treats patients with minor burns, fractures, sprains and strains, and does minor laceration repairs. Donovan will also see patients for wellness visits, and manage chronic illnesses for patients of all ages.
In addition to her clinical work, Donovan provides health care services to long-term care residents of Ash Grove Healthcare Facility. As an advanced practice clinician, she collaborates with physicians for preventative care and clinical follow-up for the residents.
Donovan earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. She has more than 16 years of healthcare experience. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
