Holly Boyer is the September 2023 CMH DAISY Award recipient

Holly Boyer, RN, received the September 2023 CMH DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. She is a registered nurse with Citizens Memorial Hospital’s Surgical Services Clinic.

Boyer’s nomination for the Daisy Award came from a patient’s daughter.

“Holly is so amazing with my mom,” the daughter wrote. “We see Holly each week, and she is just so kind, caring and gentle. My mom almost died, and Holly and the doctor made things so much easier.”

About the DAISY Award

DAISY is an acronym for Diseases Attacking the Immune System. The DAISY Foundation established the award in memory of J. Patrick Barnes, who died at 33 of an auto-immune disease. The international award thanks nurses everywhere.

CMH started the DAISY Award program in January 2019. A CMH or Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation nurse receives the award each month.
