CMH welcomes Tara Billingslea to Behavioral Health Transitional Clinic
Citizens Memorial Hospital and CMH Behavioral Health Transitional Clinic announce the appointment of mental health nurse practitioner Tara Billingslea, PMHNP-BC, to the medical staff.
Billingslea will be the mental health nurse practitioner for the CMH Behavioral Health Transitional Clinic set to open Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 8 a.m., as a part of Butterfield Park Medical Center, located at 1300 N. Oakland Ave., Bolivar, Missouri.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Cox College, Springfield. She also holds an associate degree in health administration from the University of Phoenix, Arizona, and earned a licensed practical nursing degree from Ozarks Technical Community College, Springfield. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Billingslea is an experienced psychiatric nurse with more than 10 years of mental health experience in various outpatient and inpatient psychiatry settings. She will see patients ages 15 years and older for counseling, medication management, and education services until patients are established with a CMH behavioral health provider. This is a temporary change from age 6 years and older.

CMH Behavioral Health Transitional Clinic will be open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Patients can be referred by their medical provider to be seen at the CMH Behavioral Health Transitional Clinic.
