Dian Hofmeister receives CMH DAISY Platinum Award

Citizens Memorial Hospital has recognized Dian Hofmeister, RN, with the DAISY Platinum Award after she received 10 nominations for the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. Hofmeister is a registered nurse with CMH Home Care Services.

Hofmeister’s nominations highlight the compassion, kindness and dedication she brings to caring for patients and their families, particularly those receiving hospice and end-of-life care.

Patients and families praised Hofmeister for going above and beyond to provide comfort, reassurance and support during difficult times. They described her willingness to listen to their concerns, answer questions and be available when they needed her most. Her nominations also highlighted the meaningful relationships she builds with patients and families and her commitment to treating each person with dignity and compassion.

“Dian’s 10 DAISY nominations are a wonderful reflection of the compassion and care she provides to patients and families,” said Sarah Hanak, CMH system chief nursing officer. “She truly embodies the heart of nursing, and we are honored to recognize her with the DAISY Platinum Award.”
