CMH welcomes emergency medicine physician Daniel Becak, D.O.
Citizens Memorial Hospital announces that Daniel Becak, D.O., will join the medical staff as an emergency medicine physician Nov. 1, 2026. Dr. Becak will provide care to patients in the CMH Emergency Department.
Dr. Becak is board certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Before joining CMH, he practiced emergency medicine in Colorado and served as a clinical assistant professor of emergency medicine at East Carolina University. He also has extensive research and teaching experience in emergency medicine and emergency medical services.
Dr. Becak earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, Alabama. He completed an emergency medicine residency at East Carolina University/Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. He also completed an emergency medical services fellowship at East Carolina University/ECU Health Medical Center.
He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, American Medical Association and National Association of EMS Physicians.
The CMH Emergency Department is located at 1500 N. Oakland Ave. in Bolivar and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
