CMH Dialysis Center earns national accreditation
CMH Dialysis Center has earned accreditation for in-center hemodialysis and home peritoneal dialysis services from the National Dialysis Accreditation Commission, becoming the only dialysis center in southwest Missouri to receive this distinction.
The accreditation recognizes CMH Dialysis Center for meeting rigorous national standards for patient safety, quality outcomes and excellence in dialysis care. The center earned a deficiency-free review during the accreditation survey, demonstrating its commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
"Earning accreditation with a deficiency-free review demonstrates the culture of quality that exists throughout our organization," Calhoun said. "Our dialysis team is committed to providing excellent care, and this recognition affirms the work they do for patients each day."
The accreditation process includes an extensive review of patient care practices, staff training, infection prevention measures, operational procedures and quality improvement initiatives. Facilities that achieve accreditation demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards in kidney care.
Located in Bolivar, CMH Dialysis Center provides in-center hemodialysis and home peritoneal dialysis services to patients throughout southwest Missouri, allowing them to receive high-quality care close to home. The center is also home to the CMH Nephrology Clinic, led by board-certified nephrologist Russell Davis III, D.O., giving patients access to specialized kidney care and coordinated treatment in one convenient location.
“For patients and families, this accreditation offers added confidence that they are receiving care from a center committed to excellence,” Dr. Davis said. “We remain focused on delivering outstanding dialysis and nephrology services while improving the health and quality of life of those we serve.”
The CMH Dialysis Center is located at 1160 W. Parkview St. in Bolivar.
