Matt Havens receives January 2026 CMH TULIP Award

Matt Havens, PA-C, received the January 2026 CMH TULIP Award. He is a physician assistant at Citizens Memorial Hospital’s Butterfield Park Medical Center.

A patient nominated Havens for his exceptional care and commitment to advocating for those in his care.

“Matt is the best provider I have ever had in my life,” the patient wrote in the nomination. “He goes above and beyond for his patients, and I truly believe if it were not for him, I would be dead.”

The patient shared that Havens has supported them while managing a complex medical condition that requires magnesium infusions three times a week.

“He has always been such a huge support and fighter for me as his patient,” the nomination continued. “He will go toe to toe with anyone that questions my health and has done everything in his power to get and keep my health on the front burner.”

The patient also described an example of Haven’s dedication. After a snowstorm prevented them from leaving their driveway, Havens personally picked them up and brought them to the infusion center so they would not miss treatment.

“He is a true blessing and deserves this more than anyone I know,” the patient wrote.
