Jake Pearson receives the February 2026 CMH TULIP Award
Jake Pearson, clinical dietitian manager at Citizens Memorial Hospital, received the February 2026 CMH TULIP Award.
Pearson was nominated by a patient’s family member for the care he provided during multiple hospitalizations.
The nominator shared that Pearson made a lasting impression through his kindness and connection with her grandmother.
“My grandma always speaks so highly of him,” she wrote. “He would visit with her when they brought her meals, and she always looked forward to seeing him. She knew his mother from her past career as a bus driver, so it was especially meaningful for her to see a familiar face.
“Anytime I would visit, she would talk about how he was her dietitian and what a good job he was doing. We really appreciate his kindness and care throughout the times she has been admitted.”
