CMH welcomes new physical therapist in Greenfield
Citizens Memorial Hospital welcomes Kaleigh Beyersdoerfer as a new physical therapist at the Greenfield Rehabilitation Clinic. Many in the community may already know her.
Beyersdoerfer, formerly Kaleigh Cooper, grew up in Greenfield and graduated from Greenfield High School in 2015. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in biology and a doctorate in physical therapy from Southwest Baptist University.
“I’ve always been interested in working in some type of health care because I could see it as an excellent way to serve others,” Beyersdoerfer said.
She chose physical therapy because it allows her to connect with patients during their recovery journey.
“It’s very rewarding to see patients reach their goals and get back to doing the things they want to do,” she said.
Beyersdoerfer graduated from SBU in 2022 and moved to Ohio. However, she missed the small-town feel of southwest Missouri and was excited when she saw the job opening in Greenfield this fall.
“I feel like it was meant to be for me to come back to work in my hometown,” she said. “It’s an honor to be able to give back to this community and serve the people of the town that raised me.”
