Monica Lunsford receives the March 2024 CMH TULIP Award
Monica Lunsford, CNA, is the March 2024 CMH TULIP Award recipient. She is a certified nurse assistant at Citizens Memorial Hospital’s Medical Surgical Department.
Two employees nominated her for the TULIP Award.
“Monica had a patient come to the floor right before shift change. During vitals, she noticed the patient needed assistance. Her persistence to have me access the patient saved her life…”
The nomination went on to say that Monica’s quick action and persistence helped the patient and the staff.
The second nomination read, “Monica went above and beyond to help me and my patients. She has a positive can-do attitude and helps everyone! I look forward to working with Monica because I know my patients are well taken care of.”
