CMH welcomes pediatrician Dr. James Liesen
Citizens Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the return of James Liesen, D.O., to CMH Pediatric Clinic and the CMH medical staff.
Dr. Liesen earned his medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois, and completed his residency at the University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics in Columbia. He also completed an internship at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital in Denver.
Dr. Liesen has more than 25 years of experience as a pediatrician and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He also served as a medical officer with the U.S. Air Force.
He joins pediatricians Shannon L. Calvert, M.D., Katherine Davis, M.D., Jeffrey R. Frerking, M.D., and nurse practitioners Katie Johnson, CPNP-NP, and Ashley Carpenter, NP-C, at CMH Pediatric and Walk-In Clinic in Bolivar.
Dr. Liesen provides care for children from birth through age 18, including well-baby and well-child checkups, asthma and allergy management, behavioral health support, developmental tracking and treatment for a wide range of illnesses and injuries. The clinic also offers newborn care services, minor wound care, school and sports physicals, and vaccinations through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program.
