CMH Foundation administrators named to healthcare leadership roles

Three Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation long-term care administrators have been named to prominent leadership roles in state and national healthcare organizations.

Chris McBratney was named president of the Missouri Health Care Association (MHCA) Board of Directors in fall 2024. He is serving a one-year term with an option to run for a second term beginning in August 2025. As MHCA president, McBratney oversees the MHCA executive team and leads the board of directors.

McBratney, a recipient of the 2022 David Duncan Administrator of the Year Award, has served on the MHCA Board of Directors since 2000. He is the administrator at Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility in Stockton and has been with Citizens Memorial for 31 years.

“I sincerely consider it an honor to help guide this great association through a year of change, challenges and opportunity,” said McBratney. “Change was the informal theme at our annual convention, and while it can be challenging, it also brings opportunity. I believe the association can achieve great things with those opportunities throughout the year.”

Roy Pace, administrator of Colonial Springs Healthcare Center in Buffalo, was named the 2025 MHCA Convention Chair, marking his second consecutive year in the role. Pace has been a member of the MHCA Board of Directors since 2014 and has been with CMH for one year.

Tim Francka, administrative director of long-term care at CMH, was reelected in 2024 as the Council of States Representative for Missouri on the American Health Care Association (AHCA) Board of Directors. Francka has held this position since 2017 after serving as MHCA president and past president from 2012 to 2016. He has been a member of the MHCA Board of Directors since 1997 and has been with CMH for 35 years.

“Our leaders’ involvement in MHCA and AHCA, including being elected to key leadership roles, keeps us at the forefront of long-term care policy and regulation. Their dedication helps shape the delivery of quality care and services to our residents and communities,” said Michael Calhoun, CEO/executive director of Citizens Memorial Hospital and CMH Foundation.
