CMH welcomes two nurse practitioners
Citizens Memorial Hospital welcomes two new nurse practitioners to the medical staff, including Karona Paschke, FNP-C, and Shawndee Knight, WHNP-BC.
Karona Paschke, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner at the CMH Institute of Pain Management. She joined Seong-Wook Seo, M.D., a board certified pain management specialist, at the pain clinic.
Paschke holds a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota. With nearly a decade of nursing experience, she previously worked as a registered nurse in CMH’s Intensive Care Unit and at the Dallas County Family Medical Center.
Paschke is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her scope of practice includes the treatment of all types of pain.

Shawndee Knight, WHNP-BC, is a women’s health nurse practitioner in the CMH OB/GYN Clinic. She joined board certified obstetrician-gynecologists Sarah Kallberg, D.O., Ashley Lane, D.O., and Shelly Meents, M.D., and family nurse practitioner Kelly Raney, FNP-BC, at the clinic.
Knight holds a Master of Science in Nursing, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, from Frontier Nursing University, Versailles, Kentucky. She has more than 24 years of experience in obstetrical and gynecological nursing.
Knight is certified by the National Certification Corporation for Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Her areas of practice include well-woman exams, gynecological care, prenatal and postpartum care, contraceptive counseling and management, IUD and Nexplanon placement and removal, and endometrial biopsy.
