Freedom From Smoking® Group Tobacco Cessation Classes

Stephens Pharmacy at CMH offers group tobacco cessation classes using the American Lung Association’s Freedom From Smoking® program.

Location: Bolivar, Mo. The meeting address will be included in the registration details.

Number of Classes: Eight classes over seven weeks.

Cost: $60.

Course Curriculum

Over the course of eight sessions, Freedom From Smoking® group participants work through the quitting process together. Research shows increased success when a tobacco user spends time in a supportive situation while trying to quit. Participants are six times more likely than those who quit on their own to be tobacco-free one year later.
