Save My Place FAQs

Your home is your waiting room with Save My Place, the online check-in service. Use Save My Place at nine CMH walk-in clinics for your convenience. You can save your place in line from anywhere using your mobile device or computer from the comfort of your home.

Read these frequently asked questions to learn more about the Save My Place service at CMH walk-in clinics.

CMH walk-in clinics provide care for acute illnesses and injuries, including:

  • Allergies
  • Colds, flu, fever
  • Dental pain
  • Ear pain, infection
  • Insect bites
  • Minor asthma
  • Minor cuts, burns
  • Rashes
  • Sprains, strains, simple fractures
  • Sore throat, cough
  • Urinary tract infections

If you are experiencing a life-threatening illness, injury, or emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

To get started, log in to your CMH Patient Portal. We recommend using the mHealth app. Download the free app for Android or iOS, or sign in to the CMH Patient Portal through a web browser.

  1. Select Schedule Appointment.
  2. Select walk-in and the location, date, and time you would like to be seen in the walk-in.
  3. Enter the remaining details.
  4. You'll receive a notification and an email when your appointment is scheduled.

For the fastest check-in, we recommend arriving 15 minutes before your selected time and completing the pre-registration as prompted online.

We strive to provide the safest, highest quality, and best experience for each patient we serve. We know your time is valuable and will do our best to honor the time you selected. However, if an emergency arises, your selected time may be delayed. Thank you for your patience.

Save My Place is a free online check-in service offered at nine CMH walk-in clinics. You will only be charged for your walk-in visit cost.

The payment for your walk-in visit will be due after you have been seen by a medical provider. CMH accepts most major insurances.

CMH walk-in clinics serve all patients regardless of their ability to pay. Discounts for essential services are available based on family size and income.

Only one patient on Save My Place can be seen per selected time slot. If more than one person needs to be seen, please choose a separate time for each. Do this by selecting the Change Person option in the patient portal.

Yes. Use your proxy access to a patient portal for someone else, such as a child or spouse. Select "Change Person" in the patient portal and select a time slot for that person.

If your condition worsens after you have saved your spot in line with Save My Place, do not wait. Call 911 for an ambulance or go to the nearest emergency room for care.

If you can't make it or will be later than your selected time, call the clinic to let them know. Each time slot has a 15-minute grace period. If you arrive later than the grace period, you may lose your spot in line.

Call the clinic where you saved your spot and let them know you no longer need to be seen.
