Citizens Memorial Hospital and the Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation have an employee loan forgiveness program. Employees in eligible positions can receive help repaying college loans.

Employees eligible for participation include:

• Laboratory Technicians (MST and MLT)
• Licensed Social Workers
• Paramedics
• Radiology Technicians
• Registered Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurses
• Respiratory Therapists
• Therapists (Occupational, Physical and Speech)

• CMH/CMH Foundation will pay up to $5,000 per year, and no more than $20,000 total, over 4 years.
• CMH sends a payment to the lender every 6 months and notifies the employee of the payment.
• Part-time employees can receive half of the benefit. PRN are NOT eligible.
• The repayment amount may be less for recipients of the current Medical Excellence Scholarship or another CMH loan forgiveness.
• The contract includes a requirement to continue working at CMH after graduation. You must commit to working at CMH for a year for every $5,000 in assistance received.
• Applications are accepted and reviewed year-round.
