Missouri Caregiver Program
The Missouri Caregiver Program partners with the Alzheimer's Association and Memory Care Home Solutions.
Can provide Individualized caregiver support. Provides caregivers with access to strategies for providing care at home using in-person/telehealth visits. Includes strategies for behavior management, meaningful activities, and home safety. No cost service.
Additionally can provide financial assistance (if available) via small grants, up to $1000. Can help with respite services, care products, home modifications, or assistive tech.
Examples include:
- Short-term care in-home or facility
- Adult daycare programs
- Transportation
- Legal Assist
- Supplies (including nutritional support and incontinence supplies)
- Assistive devices and home modifications
- Counseling for caregivers and those affected by Alzheimer's
- Assistive tech such as smart watches or tracking apps, motion detection and fall alert devices
Counties served: Benton, Polk, Webster, Barton, Henry, Dallas, Greene, Dade, Vernon, St. Clair, Hickory, Cedar
