Announcements

Citizens Memorial Hospital is opening new spaces in the patient tower in scheduled phases throughout April. Some departments will begin seeing patients in new locations, and a few entrances and registration areas will change.

As part of the transition to the new patient tower, entrance names will be changing. The former main hospital entrance is now the West Entrance, and the new hospital entrance at the patient tower is the Main Entrance.

Open Now

• Main Entrance doors are open.
• Emergency Department in the patient tower.
• The Birth Place in the patient tower.
• Information desk and patient registration open in the patient tower.
• West Entrance information desk remains open.
• New patient flow begins:
  • Surgery and radiology patients, including MRI and Saturday cath lab procedures, use the Main Entrance and register in the tower.
  • Lab patients continue to use the West Entrance and register in the Laboratory Department.
  • Patients scheduled for cath lab procedures, echocardiograms or nuclear medicine stress tests should continue to register at the Heart Institute Clinic.
• Cafeteria, DJBean Coffee Bar and Gift Garden Gift Shop are open.
• CMH Infusion Center is open in the hospital. Use the West Entrance.

April 25

• Intensive Care Unit moves to the second floor.

April 26

• Medical Surgical Unit moves to the second floor.

May

• Infusion Center and Cardiac Rehab patients begin using the Community Rooms entrance.
• Community Rooms entrance reopens for patient and employee use.
• Community Rooms remain closed until fall due to renovation.
