Colonial Springs Healthcare Center kitchen remodel set for March

Colonial Springs Healthcare Center in Buffalo will begin remodeling its kitchen on Monday, March 10. The renovation will cost around $65,000 and will update plumbing, electrical systems, walls and flooring to modern standards.

During the remodel, meal service for Colonial Springs residents will continue with the help of Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) Catering Services. They will provide lunch and dinner meals, while Colonial Springs staff will coordinate the daily breakfast menu.

Paired with the newly added bistro, this kitchen remodel will help the nutritional services team provide the best meals and options possible for residents and visitors.

“I want to thank Michael Calhoun, CMH CEO/executive director, and Tim Francka, CMH long-term care administrative director, for their dedication to ensuring our residents and community receive the best care and services,” said Roy Pace, administrator of Colonial Springs Healthcare Center. “This investment will ensure we provide top-quality food services to our residents, families and visitors.”
