Deanna Boggs receives the August 2024 CMH TULIP Award
Deanna Boggs, CNA, received the August 2024 CMH TULIP Award. She is a certified nursing assistant at Parkview Health Care Facility.
She was nominated for the TULIP Award by a patient’s family member.
“The care and love for the residents that Deanna shows to those in the memory care unit is above reproach. When she is on the unit, the atmosphere is pleasant. She works so tenderly with each resident. I am blessed to visit daily, so I get to witness the staff in action daily. Although there are many who are deserving of an award, Deanna goes above and beyond in her care, love and devotion to those she serves, treating them (and me) like family. It is such a pleasant surprise when I visit and Deanna is working. Even though Alzheimer’s takes its toll on the resident and family, I am able to leave there when Deanna is working, knowing my sweet momma is in the best hands!”

Citizens Memorial Hospital/Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation created the TULIP Award in June 2021 to recognize outstanding caregivers who assist in direct patient care.
TULIP stands for Thoughtful, Unforgettable, Lasting Impact on Patient Care. The award committee selects one honoree each month.
The TULIP Award is given in conjunction with the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing. Nominate a patient caregiver for the CMH TULIP Award.
