Robert McGowin, PA-C joins Stockton Family Medical Center
Stockton Family Medical Center welcomes certified physician assistant Robert McGowin, to the medical staff. McGowin is transitioning from El Dorado Springs Medical Center to Stockton Family Medical Center starting July 24.
Both El Dorado Springs Medical Center and Stockton Family Medical Center are Citizens Memorial Hospital rural health clinics.
At Stockton Family Medical Center, McGowin will provide family care and chronic disease management. He is accepting new patients. McGowin joins Kristin Robidou, M.D., DJ Edwards, PA-C, Pam Kepus, NP-C and Chastity McCullick, NP-C, at the clinic.
McGowin earned a Bachelor of Science in cellular and molecular biology and a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Missouri State University, Springfield. He is certified by the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Edwards will transition from a family practice provider to a walk-in-only provider during walk-in hours at Stockton Family Medical Center effective July 24. Due to the growing nature of Stockton Family Medical Center, family practice appointments have been expanded along with adding McGowin as a family practice provider.
Stockton Family Medical Center is located at 1521 South 3rd St., Stockton. It offers comprehensive family medicine, pregnancy care, newborn and pediatric care, annual physicals, minor office procedures, preventative medicine and disease management. The clinic also provides counseling services and has on-site digital X-ray and laboratory services. The primary care clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The medical center’s walk-in clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. The medical staff provides convenient care for people of all ages with sudden illnesses or injuries such as sore throat, allergies, cough, fever, minor burns and fractures. No appointments are necessary.
