Women's urinary issues topic for inaugural CMH Breakfast Club Aug. 10
Citizens Memorial Hospital is hosting an inaugural CMH Breakfast Club on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 7-8 a.m., in CMH Community Room 1.
It's a great way to jump-start the morning with a light breakfast and learn about women's health and wellness topics from an expert.
The public is invited to attend the free event. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required.
The first event will feature Mark J. Walterskirchen, M.D., board certified urologist in practice at CMH Urology Surgical Clinic in Bolivar. Dr. Walterskirchen is an expert in treating patients with urological and overactive bladder issues. He will present, "Living Without Limits: Understanding Treatment Options for Bladder Control," focusing on women's urinary issues.
Dr. Walterskirchen will talk about:
- What's normal and what isn't,
- Bladder control and overactive bladder,
- Causes for incontinence, stress incontinence and urinary retention, and
- Treatment options, therapies and more.
Dr. Walterskirchen is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, and completed a residency in urology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas.
