Public invited to meet new CMH physicians on Sept. 1
Citizens Memorial Hospital is hosting “Dessert with Docs,” a meet-and-greet reception with six new physicians from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1. The reception is in Community Room 1 in the hospital at 1500 N. Oakland Ave., Bolivar.
Meet the new physicians at CMH and enjoy a dessert during the come-and-go reception. Physicians at the event include:
Jordan H. Gipson, M.D., is an emergency medicine physician. He attended medical school at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, Columbia, and completed his residency in emergency medicine at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium Emergency Medicine Residency Program, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Dr. Gipson is a member of the U.S. Army Medical Service Corp. He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Ryan Kedzie, D.O., is a hospitalist-nocturnist who works mostly overnight at the hospital. Dr. Kedzie attended medical school at Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine, Henderson, Nevada and completed a residency in internal medicine at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, North Carolina. He is board eligible by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Murphy R. Mastin, M.D., is a dermatologist in practice at CMH Dermatology Clinic. Dr. Mastin attended medical school at the University of Missouri School of Medicine and was an inaugural member of MU School of Medicine Springfield Clinical Campus where he spent his final two years of medical school receiving clinical training at the two Springfield hospitals. He completed an internship and dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education, Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Mastin is board eligible by the American Board of Dermatology.
S. Craig Morris, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist joining CMH Orthopedic & Spine Center Sept. 1. He attended medical school at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Morris completed a residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center and a fellowship with the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute where he worked with members of professional sports teams including the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Dodgers and Anaheim Ducks. He is board eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Nathaniel Pearl, D.O., is an emergency medicine physician. He attended medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his residency at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura, Florida. He is board eligible by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Nathan Walters, M.D., is an emergency medicine physician. He attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan and completed his residency at Detroit Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
