Prostate cancer awareness topic for CMH Breakfast Club Oct. 5
Citizens Memorial Hospital is hosting its next CMH Breakfast Club on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 7-8 a.m., in CMH Community Room 1. It's a great way to jump-start the morning with a light breakfast and learn about men’s health and wellness topics from an expert.
The public is invited to attend the free event. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required.
The event will feature Mark J. Walterskirchen, M.D., board certified urologist in practice at CMH Urology Surgical Center in Bolivar. Dr. Walterskirchen provides expert urology care for men. He will present, "Men’s Health," focusing on both prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Dr. Walterskirchen will talk about:
- Prostate cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment options.
- Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) symptoms and treatment options.
Dr. Walterskirchen is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, and completed a residency in urology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas.
