CMH long-term care facilities to host Halloween trick-or-treating events
Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation long-term care facilities will host Halloween trick-or-treating events, Monday, Oct. 31.
Ash Grove Healthcare Facility, Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility, Colonial Springs Healthcare Center, Community Springs Healthcare Facility, Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility and Parkview Health Care Facility events will be held in the lobbies or dining areas for the first time since 2019.
“Halloween has always been a special event for the residents,” said Tim Francka, administrative director of CMH Long-Term Care. “The residents love to see kids in their costumes and hand out candy. We haven’t been able to have these events indoors for two years and are excited to do so this year.”
Facilities are encouraging precautions during these events. If you or your child are sick, have a fever or other symptoms do not enter the facility. The residents’ health and wellness is a priority.
Candy donations are welcome. If you would like to donate candy to the long-term care facilities, please contact the facility activities director or drop donations off with front office staff at each location.
“We look forward to hosting these events this year and hope to see you there,” said Francka.
