Ash Grove Family Medical Center announces medical staff additions

Citizens Memorial Hospital and Ash Grove Family Medical Center announce the appointments of Lauren Argo, NP-C and Tia Phillips, DNP, FNP-C to the CMH medical staff.

They join Malcom Oliver, M.D., board certified family medicine physician, and Stephanie Counts, NP-C in practice at Ash Grove Family Medical Center. 

Lauren Argo, NP-C

Argo joined Ash Grove Family Medical Center medical staff full-time starting March 7. She has previous experience as a hospital trauma nurse practitioner and as a clinic family nurse practitioner in Shell Knob.

Her practice at Ash Grove Family Medical Center will include complete family care, Medicare wellness visits, physical exams, minor office procedures including laceration repairs and biopsies, acute health issues such as cough, cold, flu and allergies, and chronic health issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, COPD and hypothyroidism.

Argo earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Cox College, Springfield and a Master of Science in nursing from Maryville University, St. Louis. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Tia Phillips, DNP, FNP-C

Phillips joined the Ash Grove Family Medical Center medical staff in December and sees patients as needed at the clinic including providing care for walk-in patients.

Her practice includes family care, Medicare wellness visits, physical exams, minor office procedures including laceration repairs and biopsies, acute health issues such as cough, cold, flu and allergies, and chronic health issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, COPD and hypothyroidism.

Phillips earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from St. Louis University, St. Louis, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Missouri State University, Springfield. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
