CMH announces Willard Medical Center medical staff, welcomes Dr. Mylhan Myers
Citizens Memorial Hospital announces the appointment of Mylhan Myers, D.O., to the CMH medical staff. Dr. Myers is a physician specializing in family medicine, obstetrics and pediatrics and joined the Willard Medical Center and Walk-In Clinic staff along with Kaylee Ankrom, family nurse practitioner and Magen Blades, physician assistant.
Mylhan Myers, D.O.
Dr. Myers is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine and is board eligible in HIV Medicine by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
He completed medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, and completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine’s Via Christi Family Medicine Residency in Wichita, Kansas. Dr. Myers also completed a fellowship in obstetrics at CoxHealth in Springfield.
Dr. Myers is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons. Since 2017, Dr. Myers has also served in the U.S. Navy reserve, where he became the first-ever reserve family physician to be credentialed in surgical obstetrics. He is currently assigned as the Squadron Medical Officer for Marine Wing Support Squadron 473.
Dr. Myers’ medical practice includes primary care, men’s and women’s healthcare, obstetrics, newborn and pediatric care, care for individuals with HIV, osteopathic manipulation, ultrasonography, skin biopsies and minor surgery, wellness and prevention, and sports physicals and team care.
He and his wife Rachael, a trauma/critical care nurse practitioner, live in Willard with their German shepherd, Ghost.

Kaylee Ankrom, FNP-C
Kaylee Ankrom, FNP-C, earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Southwest Baptist University, Springfield campus, and earned her Master of Science in nursing from Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Ankrom’s practice includes preventive care, sudden illness or injury, allergies, cold, cough and flu, chronic conditions, wellness care, minor burns, fractures, sprains and strains, and minor laceration repair.
Magen Blades, PA-C
Magen Blades, PA-C, earned her Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology from Drury University in Springfield, and earned her Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Missouri State University in Springfield. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Her practice includes acute illness or injury, wellness visits, allergies, cold, cough and flu, minor burns, fractures, sprains and strains and minor laceration repair, and management of chronic illnesses for all ages.
Willard Medical Center and Walk-In Clinic
The new CMH Willard Medical Center and Walk-In Clinic, located at 502 S. Miller Road, Willard, is opening Dec. 6, 2021, and will be open daily, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
The primary care clinic will be open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and will include family medicine, behavioral health and specialty clinic services, obstetrics, pediatrics, women’s health, digital X-ray and laboratory services. Specialty clinic services will include orthopedics, gastroenterology, pulmonology, podiatry and cardiology.
The walk-in clinic will be open daily from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. The medical staff will provide convenient and quick care for people of all ages who have a sudden illness or injury and need to be treated right away. Examples of common ailments include cold, flu, ear infections, sore throat, cough, fevers, allergies, asthma, pneumonia, rashes/hives, urinary tract infections, insect bites, minor burns, simple lacerations and fractures. No appointments are necessary.
