Community Health Needs Assessment
Citizens Memorial Hospital prepares a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years beginning in 2013. The CHNA:
- Describes the Hospital and its services.
- Provides an overview of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the impact of government legislation on Hospital operations.
- Summarizes the identified community health needs and the Hospital's plans to help meet those needs.
As a tax-exempt hospital district, the report is prepared in compliance with Section 501(r)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
