Orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist earns board certification

Craig Morris, M.D., an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist at CMH Orthopedic & Spine Center, has earned board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

To achieve board certification, Dr. Morris completed five years in an accredited orthopedic residency program and passed a series of examinations that assessed his skills and knowledge in orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Morris earned his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California, and a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.

Dr. Morris specializes in a wide range of procedures, including reconstruction surgery for ACL, PCL, MCL and PLC injuries; arthroscopy for the shoulder and knee; and total joint replacement for the knee and shoulder. He also performs shoulder instability repair, rotator cuff repair, foot and ankle surgery, hand and wrist surgery, fracture care, carpal tunnel repair, nerve decompression, trigger finger release, tennis elbow repair, Achilles tendon repair and more.
